Curt Nord, founder of Nord Cleaning
Nord Cleaning Service was founded in 1978 when Curt Nord began working out of the back of a 1973 Plymouth Duster. Although it was originally a carpet cleaning company, Nord Cleaning quickly moved into janitorial operations, where it continues to serve today. Curt's wife Jeanette and his son Barry have been integrally involved in the company throughout its growth.

The trademark of Nord Cleaning is its exceptional service. As the company has developed and grown over the years, it has consistently performed quality work for all its customers. Nord Cleaning joined the Building Service Contractors Association International (BSCAI) in 1989.

Who is Nord Cleaning?
Curt Nord
President, owner, and CBSE. Curt has nearly 30 years of experience in designing, installing and administrating successful service programs in the cleaning industry. He has served two three year terms on the BSCAI Board of Directors and has served on nearly every committe with the BSCAI including the Executive Committee, the Finance Committee, the Nominating Committee, and the Strategic Planning Team.
Curt has been a speaker at the BSCAI Annual Convention and at the Bidding and Estimating Seminar. Curt graduated from Illinois Wesleyan University in 1974 with a Bachelor or Science Degree in Business Administration.
Barry Nord
Operations Manager. Barry has grown up with NCS. His experience began as a general cleaner in small office buildings. He then became in carpet cleaning technician and he has also served as warehouse manager. After spending nearly three years at State Farm Insurance Companies he returned to NCS in June 2003 as Operations Manager.
Linda Sears
Administrative Assistant. Linda has been with NCS since 1991. She assumed her current position in 1993. She supervises all office functions, including inside sales. Linda has implemented many cost effective ideas that have resulted in increased office productivity.
